A Very Memorable Oxford Wedding!

I’ve known the lovely Emily for many years now, from when I regularly photographed at Brasenose College in Oxford, and she would help to coordinate those shoots. I felt like a very welcome guest at her wedding to Ian, and I’m incredibly thankful.
This was such a memorable wedding for quite a few reasons! It began as one of the hottest days of the year when they tied the knot at the Oxford Registry Office. The heat carried on as we walked over to the Folly Bridge where guests enjoyed champagne and a boat trip towards The Perch. However, this trip was ever so slightly disrupted by a random broken lock…which meant we travelled all the way back to The Folly, and instead caught taxis in rush hour!
During the reception, the weather took the strangest of turns as it went from heatwave to thunder, lightning and terrential downpour. Thank god then that everyone was in the comfortable marquee that The Perch had to offer!

Amazing day and we all absolutely loved it! Congrats to you Emily and Ian!
